GIMP's tools for text design kind of suck, so I am now designing my important text boxes in PowerPoint. Here is a batch I prepared for the initial cover. I run the PowerPoint slide show, take a screenshot, and paste that screenshot into GIMP.
Some of this text was not used. There was no room for the sample paragraph at the bottom, for example.
